I rarely take notice of the specific type of red wine that I drink, but it's hard to forget the name of the red wine that comes out of a bag in a box. I don't drink Franzia often but it is definitely the most familiar one out of the other red wine brands. Most or maybe all college students buy Franzia because of its affordability. Therefore, I can't completely rule out that wine isn't for me because I haven't given it enough chance. I've recently tried Fish Eye's Cabernet Sauvignon and actually liked it a lot better than the other red wines I've tried. It was still bitter but not as much and had a fruity taste. I thought it was a great transitioning wine for those not accustomed to the taste, like myself.
I want to become knowledgeable about wine and learn how to drink and appreciate wine the proper way. Knowing that there is a large variety of flavors out there makes me want to search for the right one that I would enjoy.
